Every year there is a new flu shot released. But how do they know what strain of the flu is going to be around? Here is what really happens.
Every year the government creates a new strain of the flu and makes a vaccine for it. They then release that new flu strain to the public through one of their greatest assets, the public water supply.
Now once most of the population has been infected they begin manufacturing the vaccine and stockpile it. Finally when flu season rolls around the media spreads panic about the flu and emphasizes the need for flu shots. The government then only realeses a small portion of the shots at a time so that there is a massive shortage. Now the government makes money on every flu shot administered and suddenly everyone wants one. With over 140 million flu shots made for last years flu season and ever shot costing upwards of 10$.... yes that's right 1.4 billion dollars!
